I did a tremendous attempt for myself attempt to jump into Blackberry wagon. That was like, incredible forcing myself to use the Blackberry Bold 9000. So, I found really nice almost new Blackberry Bold on Craigslist, for the money which not every used can be bough (really cheap, I am telling you). I threw my iPhone 3GS into the box, said "Bye-bye" to it, and literally started to use solely Blackberry Bold. For everything: email, browsing, chatting, docs -- everything! (phone calls included, as my cell phone is my primary line).

So, I did give it a try. Even couple times. Again, let me say what I loved. I loved the keyboard, form factor, faux leather back side, also replaceable battery, and other parts of the phone ;-), I liked the display (small, but comfortable in using), nice sound quality, indicators of different statuses, gmail and all messages integration in one place, super fast delivery of messages, unified messaging system, push email, network reception, battery life, and it was very reliable for me (after all). It's a very *nice* device. Particularly, was very excited about Gmail app and Enahnced Goolge plugin. No so fast! Gmail app can be integrated into the phone to accpet phones/email/...

Now, time to be sour. One way sync with Gmail is a joke. Push email basically gets every email faster to the handheld than I can get it and  reply/archive/label on the Web interface. So it's there to stay, and I need to do job twice -- on the handheld and on the Web interface. Didn't I mention that you cannot just check off the messages you want to act on (delete or label)? HTML. It's wrong to say it is supported, and probably a little bit not fair to say it is not. But, frankly speaking, "this thing" is in no way an HTML.
Did you know that reading dmzilx sigh attachments/embedded images is really painful as you scroll like one line at a time. A lot of scrolling! Takes a lot of time!
